I got this cabinet at a local antique mall. I thought I was getting a good price for it.. I now know better. Rookie mistake. :) I love it none the less though.

It was a little to blahh and one coated white paint for me.
I decided that I needed to strip it.
Let me warn anyone out there who thinks the "Do not let come in contact with skin" label on paint stripper is joking. This particular day I decided to try out an aerosol kind. I was spraying and walking around the cabinet just as my fan I had going in the garage was blowing my way and a mist of paint thinner came across my legs. To say the least it burned. My legs now have some sweet welpy like marks on them. :(
When I got the white paint off I discovered that someone had stained this booger GREEN.
I didnt even know they made green stain. It looked like baby poo. I sanded through all that green though.

I have since repainted it a creamier white an stained the top and bottom a dark brown. I'm still working on painting though, just thought I would share though.
I love the doors on it and they will soon have beautiful glass knobs on them. However my local Hobby Lobby is always out when I go. There must be someone else in my small town with an obsession for them. Hmmphh.
