So for anyone who is curious, I have the coolest grandma ever. We have carpet in every room of the house except the kitchen and laundry room. Even, the bathrooms. Well we had a plumbing problem in the guest bathroom, so the carpet had to be ripped up. What we were left with was concrete floor. Dingy, nasty looking, cold concrete floor.

Well.... I was tired of looking at it so my grandma let me paint them untill we get tile.

I saw the idea on Pinterest. (SO addicting)

I cut a stencil out of cardboard, traced it on the floor and then filled in the lines with paint.
It was my intention to paint the whole floor but I decided that a rug sized pattern looked better!
