Table Runner

One of my first projects to try out was a doily table runner that I had seen over at Under the Sycamore. I went over to one of my favorite antique stores in town. Most of the stuff there is on consignment so it has a few good, a few overpriced and a few random booths. This particular day I spotted a booth with a big pile of vintage fabrics and doilys on it. I grabbed about 17 that were all on sale for $1 or less. I took them home and spread them out on the living room floor. I rearranged them multiple times before I finally liked the pattern. I then started tying them together with bits of thread. This part is tedious and aggrivating. All in all I think it turned out great. Not as full as my inspiration one but great all the same.

What do you think?
